So for only a few glorious weeks a year, my three favorite shows align to form the best night of TV: Top Model, Lost, and Project Runway.
I won't go into last night's Lost now, b/c one - you know how I get with Lost, and two - I was kind of disappointed. (Uh, THAT'S how they want to introduce Rodrigo Santoro (aka Paolo) - God's Brazilian gift to the human race - into the show? No dramatic scene of him emerging from the water, with his ever-so-slightly hairy chest glistening from the rays of the sun? I hate you, Lost, I hate you.)
First off with the BOO:
AJ getting kicked off on Top Model over Trannylicious Jaeda? Are you f-ing kidding me? I had AJ pegged to either be the winner or in the top 4! This show has really jumped the shark. AJ, you tortured emo soul, we shall miss you. RIP 2006-2006:
But let's get past the BOOs for the YAAAAAYS. And by Yay I mean Jeffrey's win last night on PR. I must say NSN had Jeffrey pegged pretty early as his favorite to win. After his haute couture challenge, I was even convinced he could win it all. He was always the most innovative, forward-thinking, and "now" designer of all of them. I mean, do you remember the rhinestone-encrusted zipper on his tight jeans during the Jetset challenge? Talk about forward; anything to accentuate my junk is a winner for me.
But his collection last night was f-ing great. I loved most of his pieces, his designs, his color story, etc. Here's hoping he eventually designs menswear. My fave pieces:
